Meet Anastasia Ochsner - Sales & Events Manager

Anastasia grew up in Houston, Texas, where she attended Bellaire High School’s World Languages Magnet Program. After graduating, she continued her education at Baylor University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Her first role after college was with a wealth management firm in Dallas, Texas. While she valued the analytical aspects of finance, Anastasia discovered her true passion lies in the hospitality industry.

In early 2024, Anastasia joined Landry’s as a Sales & Events Coordinator at Brenner’s on the Bayou. Just a few months later, in June, she was promoted to Sales & Events Manager at Brenner’s Steakhouse. In this role, she has successfully planned and executed events ranging from corporate gatherings of 300+ guests to intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners. Anastasia takes pride in bringing her clients’ visions to life and building lasting relationships along the way.

Outside of work, Anastasia enjoys volunteering with animals, exploring new topics, and creating meaningful memories with family and friends.

Meet Elena Prevatt - Sommelier

Originally from California, Elena began her wine journey here in Houston after moving to Texas six years ago. Her career started at The Post Oak Hotel, where she worked as a wine cellar assistant and quickly discovered her passion for wine. After earning her introductory sommelier certification, she transitioned to serving at Stella’s, the hotel’s wine bar. There, she connected with guests and shared her knowledge of wines from around the world.

Last year, Elena achieved her Certified Sommelier pin, and today she is thrilled to lead the wine program at Brenner’s. Reflecting on her path, she shares:
“When I started in the wine cellar at The Post Oak, it was supposed to be temporary—a bridge between jobs. It turned out to be one of the most pivotal decisions of my life, launching an entirely new career. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities and support I received there, and for the incredible community of wine professionals here in Houston. My former wine director once told me to treat wine as an experience rather than a product. That advice stuck with me, and it’s how I approach every table. Wine is meant to be enjoyed by everyone! The key to finding the perfect bottle is listening to each guest and discovering what they love about wine. I look forward to my time at Brenner’s and to having those conversations with all of you.”
